What you can expect when we assist you with a typical Traffic Citation.

Here is how we help you with a typical Traffic Citation when you HAVE NOT PREVIOUSLY CONTACTED THE COURT about it (If you have previously contacted the court - We can still help). After you contact us, we have agreed to help you, you have prepaid all legal fees associated with your matter, and you have agreed with the terms of our service we will:

  1. 1)    Obtain Specific Information From You.

  2. No need to come to our office. We can discuss your matter on the telephone. We will ask for your name, address, telephone numbers, traffic citation information, court before which you are cited to appear, possible defenses (proof of repair, proof of existence), other information a specific court may request, and payment information.

  3. 2)  Contact Court for an Appearance date on your Traffic Citation.

  4. We will contact the court that you were cited to appear before to schedule a time for us to appear on your behalf. Once we contact the court for a date we are to appear on your Traffic Citation, the date we receive will likely differ from the date stated thereon. The date received could be before or after the date described on the Traffic Citation. Once we receive a date from the court, that date will control, not the date printed on your Traffic Citation or other dates the court may have assigned to your specific Traffic Citation.  NO BENCH WARRANT WILL ISSUE, NOR WILL YOUR DRIVING RECORD OR INSURANCE BE AFFECTED simply as a result of change of date on your matter.

  5. 3)    Appear on your Traffic Citation.

  6. On the specified date, we will appear on your behalf where we will either negotiate or plead your Traffic Citation before the court, with a City Attorney, or District Attorney. You do not have to appear.

  7. 4)    Send you a Follow-up Letter.

  8. We will send to you a letter within 7 to 10 working days describing the courts findings or negotiations, possible fine amounts, dates when fines must be paid, and to where payments must be sent regarding your Traffic Citation.

Be Aware of Promises by Our Competitors.

Our competitors may guarantee various results in order to get your business. A basic fact you need to know is when attorneys negotiate or plead Nolo Contendre on most Traffic Citations, the courts do not offer better deals to certain attorneys (unless something shady is going on). No one fixes a ticket if fixing a ticket means using means other than using accepted court procedures. So if you get a Traffic Citation for a minor violation for speeding 10 miles over the limit, the court will offer the same result to us for you as our competitors. Every attorney many times talks a judge, a city attorney, or a district attorney who possess and understands presented issues. Other times you matter is sent to the court via facsimile.  See also FAQ 8, regarding hidden fees of some of our competitors.

A Typical Person Interested in Our Help.

◦Someone who received a Traffic Citation in Las Vegas, in Clark County.

◦Someone who wants to avoid standing in line for an estimated 3 to 6 hours over 1 or 2 business days to satisfy your legal obligation to the court.

◦Someone who wants to avoid time away from work, parking and travel costs.

◦Someone not from Las Vegas or Nevada and needs assistance with a Traffic Citation.

If you answered yes to any of these questions,
We can help! We can give you legal assistance by helping you with your obligation to the court, and at the same time, save you time and money by appearing for you.

Receiving a Traffic Citation is hassle enough, dealing with it afterwards is an even greater hassle. After receiving a Traffic Citation, you have three alternatives: hire an attorney, deal with it yourself by appearing in court, or pay the stated fine. NOTE: Paying only the fine is generally taken by the court as a Guilty plea, any demerits involved will show up on your driving record with the Department of Motor Vehicles of your state of residence, and your insurance company will find out from the description of the violation.

If you decide to deal with the Traffic Citation yourself, some courts make you spend up to 3 hours on a work day. Other courts make you spend the time over 2 work days. With these courts, at the first appearance, after waiting a period of time you meet only with the court clerk to schedule your trial date, then, for the second time, you appear at a later date for your trial.

Consider that in addition to waiting with a crowd of people, you will spend time in travel to and from the court and in parking fees, a waste of gas. Generally, court hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Your time is better spent with family, being productive at work, with self improvement, and at recreation. Let us stand in line for you, let us pay for the parking, and let us spend the time appearing before the judge and/or dealing with your Traffic Citation for you.
